When you arrive in Cusco, the altitude will hopefully welcome you gently. Suddenly, everyone will start talking to you about the famous 'Cusco Tourist Ticket'. Whether it's the partial ticket, the comprehensive ticket or circuits 1 or 3, it's confusing! It's a headache!
Many travellers make the mistake of buying the most expensive ticket 'just in case' and end up wasting money, while others buy the cheapest ticket and miss out on the best of the Sacred Valley.
In Tiwanaku or Tiahuanaco (500–1000 AD), the goddess with open arms and prominent breasts found in ceramics and steles may represent a universal mother deity. WiraTrips no queremos que te pase eso. Aquí te explico, sin palabras complicadas, qué es este papelito, para qué sirve y cuál es el que TÚ necesitas.

The Cusco Tourist Ticket essentially serves as your “passport” for entry to almost all other archaeological sites and museums in the region. Without it, you cannot visit Saqsayhuamán, Pisac or Moray.
🤔 Full or partial Cusco Tourist Ticket?
This is where most people get confused. There are four types of ticket. Let's see which one is best for your trip.
The Comprehensive Tourist Ticket (The “All-Rounder”)
This is the final boss. It gives you access to 16 locations, including archaeological parks and museums.
| Ticket type | Price for Foreign Tourist (S/) | Price for National Tourist (S/) |
|---|---|---|
| Full ticket | 130.00 | 70.00 |
| Student ticket | 70.00 | 40.00 |

- On Av. El Sol: From the tourist galleries of the Municipality of Cusco (COSITUC). This is the most recommended place to buy tickets.
